When startups subscribe to SkilledUp Life, there usually is some business goal. It could be to build a sales and marketing team in order to ace growth goals or maybe to build some component to their product stack, and yet maybe to have an all-round operations team – human resources, support, product, etc. Whatever the reason, you always can be sure these startups are in good company.

One such startup is The VR Superstore. Today we explore how The VR Superstore has remarkably tackled a common challenge among early-stage technology startups: building robust teams.

About The VR Superstore

The VR Superstore is the leading provider of high-quality virtual and augmented reality products and services, including e-commerce solutions, business applications, and training programs. The VR Superstore offers a vast array of products and solutions to help businesses transition into the world of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, as well as the Metaverse.

The VR Superstore’s primary goal for subscribing to SkilledUp Life was to complete the development of their product, and also to facilitate the scaling of the company. The VR Superstore after subscribing to SkilledUp Life was able to build teams spanning social media, project management, human resources, business development, and product management. The management staff was able to structure these teams and delegate tasks to them as well.

In the long term, The VR Superstore looks at integrating volunteers into tasks like website design and development usually handled by the staff.

So far, The VR Superstore has integrated over 15 volunteers and notes the exceptional volunteers who have made significant contributions to helping the expansion of the company. According to the founder, Mr Dimitri Radom, below are the exceptional volunteers he wishes to be recognized;

  1. Tim Xu – Graphic Designer
  2. Melissa Enninful – Product Manager
  3. Nayottama Pradana – Graphic Designer 3 months
  4. Satriyo Prasojo – Human Resources Associate
  5. Yanislav Pacherazov – Human Resources Associate

“The support and resources provided by the SkilledUp Life team for our membership tier met our expectations and beyond. We’re currently looking to increase our tier, hopefully for December 2023 – January 2024”  – Mr. Dimitri Radom, CEO of The VR Superstore

Skilledup Life’s Impact On The VR Superstore

The VR Superstore has gained valuable insights from utilizing volunteers from SkilledUp Life’s pool. They were able to measure the need and importance of learning and developing content, particularly for vulnerable audiences such as fresh starters and individuals from less developed countries where access to digital technology might be challenging.

As time goes on, the startup intends to incorporate these observations into its core mission statements, which already focus on education. Their goal now will be to leverage their social impact by helping these communities reach access to digital technologies they would otherwise not have access to.
