We have many issues at SkilledUp Life (similar to all bootstrapped tech startups). One of those is that our product has not evolved since Jul 2020. This has become a critical issue now.

I wasted the last 12 months not making the right decision on the product. The cost of poor decision-making had a significant negative effect on the whole of the operation including our bottom line. Scarce financial resources were wasted. No one to blame but me.

Since this month, we have started the journey of building V2 of SkilledUp Life. We are currently at the design stage.

Lesson Learned

Start with WordPress (or similar) but ditch it as soon as possible and code V2. Don’t try to find an interim solution. Where I went wrong was looking for an interim solution.

I see SkilledUp Life becoming a platform in 2025. I welcome your thoughts.
