Stacy Narkie Clarke is a Ghanaian who has worked as a journalist and a customer care manager and now intends to venture into human resource management. She’s currently pursuing a degree in Human resource management at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). 

She aspires to become an HR consulting expert with a growing interest in digital marketing. She’s therefore learning and building herself in that regard, with an interest in becoming a freelance digital/ social media marketer.

Stacy decided to join SkilledUp Life to develop new skills and enhance existing ones as well. She understands that it’s a competitive world out there and so she believes volunteering and gaining experience will set her apart from others. She always wanted to learn about the technological space and that also influenced her decision to join SkilledUp Life

At SkilledUp Life, she worked as a talent acquisition specialist during her first term. Her role was to market opportunities on LinkedIn to attract signups and applicants to fill those opportunities.

In her second term, she’s working as an HR associate and working on the onboarding and training team as well as the performance management team.

Stacy has now been able to better understand how HR plays a role in an actual working environment and has experienced it firsthand, aside from learning about it all in school. 

She has learned what is involved in onboarding processes, performance management strategies, and various ways to track performance using various Google Sheet trackers. She has enhanced existing skills within these roles, learnt how recruiting is done, and used Google Workspace to get work done.
