If a Volunteer abandons executing agreed activities, we suggest you engage with him or her to understand what has resulted in the lack of contribution. If no satisfactory answer is provided or no response is received within an acceptable time frame (e.g. 72 to 96 hours), then we suggest you initiate termination of the Volunteer Agreement and seek out a replacement.
You can reduce the chance of early abandonment by adopting a three-step process of sourcing, these being:
- Filter applicants or headhunt best-fit talent from our growing volunteer base.
- Initiate a pre-qualification questionnaire
- Conduct an interview
In addition, for technical roles, you might also consider testing their knowledge and skills.
