About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Chinese Social Media Volunteer to enhance the online presence of SkilledUp Life on Chinese Social Media starting with xiaohongshu.com. We want you to let more people know about what SkilledUp Life is all about, connect and engage with the Chinese-speaking community on different social media sites.  You’ll create posts that tell our story and catch people’s interest. We are interested in promoting SkilledUp Life to Chinese University and Higher Education Students in mainland China as well as in other countries, especially in the UK and Europe.

Our Needs:

• Fluency in Mandarin – both written and spoken.
• Fluency in English – both written and spoken.
• Active profile on xiaohongshu.com, WeChat and other Chinese Social Media channels.
• Strong understanding of popular Chinese social media platforms.
• Creativity and ability to create compelling content.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics.
• Good organizational skills.

Activities:

Coordinating with our CEO, Head of Marketing and the Marketing Team, your tasks include but not be limited to:

• Create a simple social media strategy for xiaohongshu.com.
• Publish content daily and engage in conversations with potential volunteers as well as tech startups.
• Report results and continually refine the strategy.
• Organise events.

Acquired Work Experience and Skills:

Potential skills you might develop as a result of this Opportunity include but not be limited to:

• Gain hands-on experience in social media management.
• Contribute to meaningful causes and make a positive impact.
• Networking opportunities within the company and the international community.

Time Commitment (Duration):

• 2 to 3 hours per day, every weekday.
• 3 months ( 60 working days).
• Remote.
