About the Opportunity
We are actively seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our Events Team as the Head of Events. We are seeking an individual who can lead and drive the planning and promotion of a diverse array of events, with a focus on social media events, partnership events, and other events as designated. If you have a passion for event coordination, community engagement, and creating memorable experiences, we invite you to take on this pivotal role.
Volunteer Activities
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop impactful promotional campaigns aimed at maximizing event attendance and increasing company visibility.
- Coordinate the strategic planning and execution of diverse events across our social media platforms, ensuring alignment with company goals and audience engagement.
- Manage and oversee events across various categories, including social media events, partnership events, and events as assigned.
- Conduct thorough evaluations after each event, gathering feedback and insights to enhance future planning and execution
- Provide leadership to the Events Team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment for successful event coordination.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for event coordination, community engagement, and creating impactful experiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative mindset for developing engaging event concepts.
- Familiarity with social media platforms for event promotion.
- Ability to work independently, remotely and as part of a team.
Duration
- 3 months (60 days)
- Part-time (can render at least 2 to 3 hours per day)
