About the Opportunity

Our Founder failed to build a sales team three times. We need an experienced sales professional to join us and build a sustainable sales team, initially comprising 5 sales volunteers. You need to be able to commit 2 to 3 hrs per day for 60 volunteer days under a 3-month Volunteer Term. We have over 1,000 leads on HubSpot. You will also get access to Deal Lite, which tracks UK venture-backed tech companies.

Your initial goal is to help us acquire 40 Advanced Plan customers and get us to £10,000 MRR.

 

Our needs

  • Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
  • An undergraduate degree or similar education (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Have excellent persuasion skills.
  • Excellent record keeping.
  • Experienced in the sales lifecycle (must).
  • Access to tech startups (preferred)
  • Self-learner and ability to execute tasks without any supervision.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism.

 

Activities

Working with our CEO and the sales team, your Volunteer role will include but not be limited to:

  • Building the sales team with the help of our HR Team.
  • Motivating and coaching the Sales Volunteers.
  • Qualification of leads on HubSpot.
  • Nurturing leads.
  • Demonstrating our product and service.
  • Converting leads to sales.
  • Post-sales support including handing over to the support team.

If you have never led a Business Development and Sales team before, this is your opportunity to gain experience and skills. If you had no exposure to the exciting and chaotic tech startup world, this is an ideal opportunity to experience it.
