7th Century Company Overview
7th Century Music is a music streaming platform that was founded by Tawanda Mawushe, a singer-songwriter and producer in his own right. The platform was built to help independent music artists to distribute, market and monetise their music using our custom built software, utilising DATA and smart marketing strategies to provide a more predictable path to growth and success for the average artist. Founded in 2016, our company has seen two major evolutions in the past few years. Our latest product provides an easy to understand user interface for the primary audience (the listener) while giving a lot more depth in information to the artist in the backend.
We believe that easiest path to success for the artist requires collaboration and community, that’s why we’re focused on a community based revenue sharing strategy. This allows the artist to share their success and revenue with the people that directly contribute to their success, making it profitable for everyone to promote the artist.
Our mission is to aid the average independent artist who cannot afford the team or the tools to successfully build a thriving music career. We believe that the best way to do that requires a very simple strategy which we outline through our onboarding process. Where most artists just release their music with no plan, we set them off with the strategy and tools on our platform in place to help them succeed. This gives the artist the confidence, ability and the power to achieve their goals…
As a startup, we run very lean with a small team of developers and a dedicated staff team who are always on standby and ready to perform any tasks ranging from maintenance to faults and or potential threats. We also work with outside agencies to ensure the safety of our users data and the site as a whole, mitigating risks to our users as best as we can.
