Hello there,
This is Yash Madhu. I have completed my post-graduation (MSc in Business Analytics) from University of Limerick, Limerick, Ireland. Previously, I was working as a Application Development Analyst at Accenture, Mumbai, India.
During span of nearly 4 years at Accenture, I was involved in various Business Intelligence/Analytics projects. I have worked on different datasets from various industries including Postal services, Wines and Spirits, Telecom. Having gained functional knowledge across industries, I have developed complex SQL queries with transformations as well as dealt with stored procedures. Having worked on different ETL Tools (Diyotta, IBM DataStage, Informatica), I have developed my technical skills to process and enrich the data. Due to my enhanced understanding of data flow, I created various complex views to showcase overall business functionalities for reporting purpose for client. I coached juniors as well as new senior team members. Furthermore, being a senior team member, I have experience in managing tasks and meetings with clients in absence of manager.
Being self-motivated individual, I developed basic dashboards in QlikView. Moreover, during my post-graduation, I have worked with Google Data Studio, and Tableau for creating visualizations and reports to get meaningful insights out of data. Along with this, I have developed certain visualisations considering Covid-19 data using different python libraries for data processing. Having interest on the same path career, I would like to be a part of team, where I could broaden my skillset and knowledge in Data Analytics domain.
Having knowledge of Software Development Life cycle, Data Modelling, Data Processing and Management, Data Warehouse Solutions, I would like to join your firm for the said profile. Additionally, knowing functional/business requirements, I could easily provide technical solutions for performance optimization and develop automation assets as well for smooth process.
Moreover, I am eager to learn different emerging technologies and tools. Henceforth, if there are new tools, I could easily learn and handle the situations in the running project. I have developed this adaptability during my professional work experience.

Undertook data science modules such as Statistics, Database Management (PL SQL), Big Data and Machine Learning (Python). Also had a Digital Futures Lab, Business Simulation modules in lieu of thesis.

• Final Year Project: Prototype for a wheelchair driven by Android App and ARDUINO controller using Ultrasonic, IR sensors, L293D Motor drivers with different features, including speed control, and auto control whilst reversing.

Data Analyst
Accenture Solutions Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, India
Client: Sprint Telecom, USA • Developed and produced data Ingestion jobs that transfer raw data and flat files into HDFS and Provision jobs which process and enrich data with required transformation. Performed Unit testing for each developed job. • Led process of business requirements gathering with client, analyzing the different business specification issues and working towards suitable solutions. • Involved in building a robust framework (error handling, audit logging mechanism, incremental data pull logic, outbound file feeds) and technical design documents from the business requirements of service and repair capabilities. • Prepared and executed complex HIVE queries (HQL) for history data load and data patch activities. • Prepared standard views with quality data necessary for insightful business reports from client’s point of view. • Developed HDFS scripts to perform automated data validation among HIVE tables and performance optimisation. • Provided the impact analysis and estimates for multiple change requests considering end-to-end workflow. • Supported code deployments at UAT, production and troubleshooting technical issues, along with resolving performance bottle necks. • Mentored juniors/senior new joiners and conducted knowledge transfer sessions on functional part and technical design specifications. • Developed two Automation assets (HDFS scripts) to improve client’s time and cost, achieving recognition from the client. • Gained functional/business knowledge for telecom domain.
Business Intelligence Developer/Tester

Client: Southern Wines and Spirits, USA • Performed end-to-end ETL testing. • Participated in test plan creation defining the testing scope and approach as per requirements. • Prepared complex SQL queries including numerous transformations and validated full data in Redshift (AWS) database as part of integration testing. • Conducted knowledge transfer sessions, coached juniors and new team members. • Due to my enhanced understanding of data flow, I was involved in reverse engineering work and developing the SQL code from available target and source data in Redshift following data patterns.
Business Intelligence Tester
Accenture Solutions Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, India
Client: Royal Mail Group (RMG), UK • Created and updated test plans and test cases as per client requirements and identified problems to ensure up-to-date testing. Testing consisted of multiple functionalities of the migration project in multiple environments. Test Cases consisted of end-to-end ETL testing, file transfer among servers. Server connectivity testing was accomplished through Wireshark and Putty. Covered Disaster Recovery (DR) testing of different servers and Teradata Databases. Teradata Unity was the DR tool used for database. • Defect Analysis incorporating strong problem solving and data investigation skills for issue identification in ETL logic using SQL queries for root cause analysis. Managed tracking of tickets over HP ALM QC and retested defects. • Having gained a better understanding of existing ETL jobs and dependencies, I collaborated with Software development team to debug failed test cases by interpreting the problems and translating them into actionable tasks. • Understanding overall functionality, I coached team members, helping them resolve technical issues in ETL testing. • As a self-motivated individual, I proactively built basic ETL jobs using IBM DataStage tool.
