About Me

Hello, my name is Abigael Amuruon, a Bachelors Degree holder in Computer Science. I’ve had a previous experience in ICT whereby I got to learn about computer networking in detail through building and upgrading LAN. Upon my course completion, I was privileged to get a Customer Service job as a live chat specialist which is also my current position. Being a Fintech company, I was tasked to resolve customer complaints based on transaction glitches that happen from time to time. While at it, I tasked myself to always learn new skills. I learnt Microsoft Excel via CloudFactory Academy and then Microsoft Power BI via Datacamp. Recently, I got into a bootcamp (International Youth Foundation Kenya) to learn Front-End Web Development which is coming to an end in 4 weeks. I’d like to venture into Data Analytics as a career. Skilledup has the opportunity to grant me with hands-on industrial experience which will help me grow career-wise and also at a personal level. The thrill that comes with transforming raw data into actionable insights is one great feeling. Given an opportunity, I intend to take it seriously and make a positive difference to the team. Report all damaged/faulty ICT equipment to the ICT Technician. Set up and check ICT equipment when instructed. Take photos of school events/activities as a matter of routine (assemblies and school events) and when requested. Assist in administrative duties when directed and building new LANs and Packet Tracing.
