About Me

With an interest in making a difference in tech and developing innovative solutions, having completed my degree program for a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a Diploma in Computer Engineering with skills in User Research, Wireframing, Usability Studies, Presentation, and Prototyping. Currently, I work as a Product Owner for the Udongo application, a platform where we strengthen the agricultural value chain and collaborate with different actors in the agricultural space. We provide market access to farmers with our farm and fortune hubs spread across
Nigeria and we also have a marketplace where retailers and wholesalers can advertise agricultural inputs and equipment. Further, we have agronomy content that helps our extension agents train these farmers, which also helps farmers with good agricultural practices, farmers also have access to weather services which will help them make informed farming decisions.

As the Product Owner for Udongo, I have led my team and we have launched in other African countries like Ivory Coast, Kenya, Ghana, and Rwanda. We have also released a new feature called the farmer’s journey where we help farmers with advice on how to go about their daily farming activities. I was opportune to follow this project throughout the life cycle and it is a great achievement giving value to these farmers.

Also, I have recently led a team in the development and design of a recruitment application to help connect job seekers to their potential employers. Rekruit, our platform, is different from the rest because we get to equip these job seekers with soft skills and prepare them for the
workplace so recruiters on our platform are sure they will get the best candidate. We worked on the project for 3 months and we enrolled in the Abuja Tech Converge where we participated in the Hackathon competition. My team and I were awarded the sum of a 1,000,000naira start-up grant.
