About Me

My name is Mistir Teklu Gemechu, and I am an Electromechanical Engineer from Arba-Minch University, and seek to challenge myself, by making connections between academics and real work experience. I have developed a set of time management skills, eagerness to learn, hunger for success, honesty, accountability, and strong work etiquette. Furthermore, I worked as Technical Engineer Intern at Green Scene Energy PLC.

As an individual that has experienced all forms of social structures, I have persevered to become resilient no matter the outcome. My career ship soon approached an iceberg called inequality. Through all obstacles I will continue to persevere, and attract more companies and institutions, to have them see in me what they could endlessly reap once the iceberg melts.

I am motivated about helping individuals and organizations achieve their mission, and that in essence is the impact I have on my surroundings. Regardless of the social challenges, my tenacity has enabled my leadership skills to proliferate. The same can be expected wherever I stand, and with every systematic barrier, I will continue to gain momentum until leadership overcomes inequality. Using this momentum, I am excited to become part of your team and allow myself to experience equality of opportunity to employ leadership skills more than ever. This opportunity will end the winter and my icebergs will melt. I will develop my guiding principles within my educational and career goals while inspiring women to follow my lead.
