About Me
My name is Victor Olakunle David. A technology professional with close to 20 years of experience spread across Government, Telecomms, FMCG, University, Utilities and Logistics markets. Started my career as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA, later moved into technology management, Started my own Logistics startup and finally into Product Management.
As a technology manager, i was involved in Stakeholder management, vendor management, Staff recruitment and managing the technology infrastructure of the organization. I also ran a startup called Cargol, which was a tech-driven logistics startup that helped FMCG distributors deliver orders to their retailers. Finally, as a Product manager with 2 years of experience, I have developed and launched 3 different products by writing Product Strategies, Vision, Roadmap and Product Requirement documents which helped in the development and adoption of the products.
I am looking to further develop my skills as a product manager via the volunteer path through the Skilledup program, which I believe would help me further hone my skills to excel as a well-rounded product manager and hopefully be able to apply these skills to one day launch a successful startup.
