Cady Pridgeon

About Me

Hi there! I’m Cady, a senior software engineering major at Auburn University with a passion for UI/UX design. As a self-taught designer, I’ve taken the opportunity to create intuitive and user-centric designs for various projects.

With my background in computer science and front-end web development, I have the ability to bridge the gap between developers and designers. This unique perspective allows me to create designs that are not only visually appealing but also practical and developer-friendly. One of my notable achievements includes designing and developing the websites for Auburn Hacks 2023, the largest in-person hackathon in Alabama. Additionally, I’ve worked on a variety of freelance projects with clients to create engaging desktop and mobile designs.

Beyond UI/UX design, I’ve explored several creative avenues such as graphic design, motion graphics, and video editing. While holding executive positions within on-campus organizations, I’ve honed my graphic design, content creation, and marketing skills. Proficient in tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe After Effects, I have a versatile skill set to bring ideas to life.

When I’m not designing, I enjoy attending concerts, traveling, and admiring sunsets.
