About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Nigerian team as a Market Research Analyst Volunteer . As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in conducting market research to gather valuable insights into consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitive analysis. Your responsibilities will include collecting data, analyzing market trends, and preparing reports to inform strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research on various aspects of the market, including customer preferences, industry trends, and competitor analysis. Utilize various sources, such as surveys, interviews, reports, and online databases, to gather data.
  • Gather and compile data from diverse sources, ensuring its accuracy and relevance. Create and maintain databases to organize and manage collected information effectively.
  • Analyze collected data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities. Use statistical and analytical tools to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and volunteers to understand their challenges and requirements. Translate these insights into research objectives and strategies.
  • Provide well-founded recommendations based on your research findings. These recommendations should support informed decision-making processes within the organization.
  • Prepare and present reports summarizing research results and insights. Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand presentations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Continuously monitor and assess the competitive landscape, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments. Share this information with relevant teams to inform strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that research findings are integrated into business strategies and initiatives.
  • Dedicate the required time and effort to meet project deadlines and objectives. Maintain open communication with project leads and team members.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with market research tools and software is a plus.
  • Previous experience in market analysis or research is preferred but not mandatory.

Duration:

  • Ability to commit 2-3 hours per day.
  • 3 months ( 60 working days)
  • Remote
