About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Sales Coach Volunteer to oversee sales operations, recruit, train, coach, and supervise a team of Sales and Customer Acquisition Volunteers. The primary goal is to achieve sales targets and lead, develop, and inspire the sales team to successfully realize our growth ambitions. This opportunity is suited for anyone who wants to learn and practice sales skills or if you’re looking to up skill and change jobs, then SkilledUp Life is for you.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English Language – both written and spoken.
  • Undergraduate degree or similar education.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent persuasion skills.
  • Ability to be responsive within a remote work setting.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience is preferred but not a must.
  • Dabbling with (previous experience) sales is a big plus.
  • Excellent record keeping.
  • Ability to thrive independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational skills, including prioritizing, time management, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism.

Volunteer Activities:
Working with the Head of Sales and Marketing, your Volunteer role will include all or a selection of:

  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members.
  • Monitor and optimize the sales pipeline to ensure leads progress smoothly through the sales funnel and convert to opportunities.
  • Lead sales teams to reach sales targets.
  • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed.
  • Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment.
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed.
  • Update and review current working practices, procedures and systems for continuous improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on the team’s progress, successes, and areas for improvement.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Sales and Customer Acquisition team to measure success and productivity.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to Sales and Customer Acquisition team to enhance their skills and product knowledge, enabling them to effectively engage with potential clients.
