As an Undergraduate I worked on several projects; conducted research as well as delivered speech on matters relating to Advertising, Media communications, Public Relations and Conflict Resolution. As a team lead I worked with other team members in creating Broadcast Program content for both Radio and Television station, after which I single handed created and featured as an anchor for a radio program. I also wrote and delivered thesis on Conflict management, Broadcasting, Mass Media and the Society, Advertising and Public relations; wrote research papers on Advertising, Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing Management, Broadcast Media and communications.

I started my transition journey from Mass communication to Product Design as an apprentice with Torilo academy. I worked with a team of eight [8] in learning in basic fundamentals as a Product designer, Conducted User research, created User personas, Built wireframes [Low-fidelity and high fidelity wireframes], Mockups and Presentation, as well as Usability Testing of Products.

My interest in Building and Creating Products led me to getting an apprenticeship in Utiva as an associate Product Manager. As an Associate Product Manager I learned how to assist the Product manager in developing and executing the product roadmap. I worked closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and business objectives. My role involved using Agile methodologies to plan and prioritize product features and enhancements; I wrote user stories and worked with the development team to ensure that the features of the product were properly implemented. I had the responsibility of maintaining the product backlog and ensuring that it is up to date and prioritized based on business value and customer needs. I was also exposed to coordinating and leading product demos, retrospectives, and sprint planning sessions; working with the Product Manager to ensure that the product development process adheres to Agile principles and that the team is continuously improving their processes. I had the opportunity of using data-driven approaches to measure product success and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement as well as working with the Product Manager to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product and track progress against those metrics.

My desire to learn and advance in Product Management inspired me in enrolling for an Agile Scrum Foundation Course in Simpli-Learn and this has indeed helped me learn an unlearn all that is required of me in Product Management especially as regards using the SCRUM approach of agile methodology in managing a product.
