About Me
As a highly motivated and skilled sociologist, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the humanitarian sector. My work with the University of Manitoba Centre for Global Public Health Nigeria, as a Field Interviewer, has provided me with valuable insights into the challenges of public health in Nigeria. I have also gained teaching experience as a part-time Lecturer at the Federal College of Education Okene, which has honed my critical thinking, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
My background in sociology, combined with my passion for human rights and social justice, has led me to pursue a variety of certifications, including Understanding the Rights of Women and Girls, and SW25x: Global Health Case Studies From a Bio social Perspective. Additionally, I hold a Professional Diploma in Education from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a BSc. in Sociology from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
In my role as a volunteer Project Manager for Children and Young People Living for Peace in Kaduna State, I gained valuable experience in community organizing and team building. I have also completed several certifications in project management and public health, including Project101x: Introduction to Project Management and PH557: Lessons From Ebola: Preventing the Next Pandemic.
I am passionate about using my skills and expertise to make a positive impact on the lives of people in need.
