About Me
I am Godson Ahamefula Smith, from Nigeria. I studied Physics at the degree level and have had the opportunity of working with some tech companies in the role of a network engineer. I get elated to explore the world of data since the world generates trillions of data through various activities. I understand that these data are goldmines waiting to be explored for the enrichment of organizations. It is therefore my passion and goal to build a career in making sense of these data to aid businesses to make informed business decisions.
In light of the above, I underwent a data science fellowship program with Utiva where I learned the rudiments of data analytics using tools like Advanced MS Excel, Power BI, Python, and SQL. It is interesting to note that I can fundamentally use these tools for data collection, analysis, modeling, exploration, and visualization. I have worked on multiple case studies and real-life projects. I, therefore, seek an opportunity for an internship or volunteer job to help me broaden my data analytical experience while helping companies solve business problems.
I pledge to bring my previous experience to the fore while learning new ones during my voluntary job placement. I am known for my values of honesty, hard work, resilience, and innovation, and I won’t compromise on them.

I studied for five years at the university where I did courses in core Physics, Electrical & electronics Engineering, Computer Sciences, etc. Physics as a discipline inculcated in me the skills of critical thinking and analytical reasoning.
