About Me
I am Sisanda Madiya, a User Experience (UX) designer with a certificate i acquired from the University of Cape Town and 1 year of working experience in UX design. I also have a User Interface design certificate from Udemy focusing using FIGMA to complete various stages of the UX design process. My experience in UXD has so far consisted of volunteer projects and design challenges.
I would love to volunteer in tech projects to not only challenge and improve my skills, but also to contribute to an excellent team of designers and build great digital products. I have particularly strong skills in user research, competitive analysis, wireframing, visual planning, and usability testing.

I completed this degree with a distinction in the dissertation. My project focused on the relationship between communities, the government, and large-scale extractive businesses.

Web designer
Woodside Sanctuary for the intellectually disabled
In this project i was responsible for modernizing the organization website by making it more user friendly and visually pleasing. I used Figma and canva as my primary tools to design this website. I completed the user research, wireframes, design planning, final design and usability testing for this project.
