About Me

Hello I’m Shreetama. I am an experienced scientific researcher in analytical methods for more than 10 years. Over the years, I learnt critical thinking, different methods of data analysis and presentation, collaboration, lab and people management skills and interpersonal skills. The years in research were rewarding to me in terms of scientific growth, working with great colleagues and working in both domestic and international settings. I love communicating scientific findings and data through presentations and had a high time in my career when I got the chance to showcase my data in Gordon Photochemistry conference 2017.

The data-based analytical techniques encouraged me to learn more about data analytics and data science. Currently I am learning python programming to an intermediate level, data manipulation with pandas, statistical methods and hypothesis testing with numpy and pandas and wish to delve soon into the machine learning methods using Python.

Due to my long experience in experimental science, I learnt the hard way that acquiring data for analysis is not easy. This is the reason I want to learn acquire real life data and unleash their potential. I think working as a volunteer with a company will help me understand the world of data science better and be a great boost to my skills.
