About Me

My name is Samreen Waqas Raja and I recently completed Msc. Fin. Tech, ULMS, University of Liverpool. I was introduced to you via the website. I am interested in pursuing this position at your Company, and have enclosed my resume and background information below.

I have previously worked in commercial banks in Pakistan for 12 years. Through this experience of front desk operations, documentation, reporting and analysis, I have gained interpersonal, communication, problem solving and team working  skills. I also had the opportunity to work on SME lending schemes launched by the government of Pakistan during COVID-19 pandemic, which helped in sustaining businesses. Through this experience, I have been able to work in close coordination with colleagues and team leaders under difficult situations. While at the same time, I adhered to the prudential regulations and regulatory requirements for my scope of work.

Furthermore, I have worked as a trade and credits relationship manager for SME & Commercial group in my latest assignment with Bank Alfalah. I managed 85 SME and Commercial customers. I managed these relationships with my strong interpersonal skills and enhanced the portfolio as per designated targets. I am capable of processing large data, analyzing it and presenting it effectively. I fulfilled the audit requirements on a monthly and quarterly basis through record maintenance as well as regular reporting of my portfolio. Moreover, recently, I have collected data through API curl for an NGO (Justice for Tenants, UK).

I am also particularly interested in working for NGOs, which is evident by my recent volunteer work for Justice for tenants (Legal) where I collected a large set of data of private rented properties through API curl. Earlier, I completed an internship in OXFAM GB during my MBA degree. Thus these assignments helped my research and analytical skills.
