This was a 2-year rigorous programme aimed at providing advanced human Resource Management training to highly qualified degree holders. Courses taken included Human Resource Management, Multivariate Data Analysis for Business, Research Methods, Organisational Behaviour & Management, Human Relations in Organisation, International Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations & Labour Law, and Advanced Business Policy and Strategy.

It was a four year programme that dealt with applied concepts, principles, theories and methods that shaped individual behaviour. Courses studied over the 4-year degree span included, psychology of everyday living, biological foundation of human behaviour, industrial/organisational psychology, development psychology, Psychology of Personality, Learning, Cognitive Psychology, social psychology and Abnormal psychology.

Duties/ Responsibilities carries out included:  Developed, implemented and monitored HR strategies and initiatives alignment with overall business strategy.  Assisted in the development and implementation of HR Policies and Practices.  Spearheaded the talent acquisition and recruitment processes of Employees and Volunteers.  Conducted employee onboarding, training and development initiatives.  Developed work structure and job descriptions for all positions in the company.  Advised Management on decisions supported by HR Data/ metrics. Achievement chalked over this period are:  Developed Opportunity description and organizational chart for AFCITI Company Limited.  Recruited and retained thirty-eight (38) volunteers in the field of HR, Finance, IT, Corporate Communications, Digital Marketing, Operations and Creative Design.  Prepared and trained all employees and volunteer on AFCITI’s Code of Conduct.  Developed Membership Subscription Policy for Partners of AFCITI Company Limited.  Developed and trained AFCITI Management and Volunteers on Performance Management System.

Assistant Director for Administration

Shama District Assembly and Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly

Responsibilities and duties carried out over the period as Assistant Director for Administration included:  Prepared and Submitted Annual and quarterly progress reports, Action Plan and Budget of Central Administration Department to the General Assembly.  Prepared and Submitted Annual and Quarterly Administrative Performance Reports to the Regional Coordinating Council.  Prepared Annual Itinerary of Programmes and Activities for all Departments of the District Assemblies.  Organized and held quarterly meetings of Finance and Administration Sub-committee, Municipal Education Oversight Committee, Management, Executive and General Assembly Meetings.  Drafted over 100 speeches, minutes, reports and other correspondence for the Chief Executive Signature.  Ensured the development of the capabilities, skills and knowledge of staff. Notable Achievement chalked included:  Led a team at the Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly to pass the District Performance Assetment (DPAT) in 2020 (obtaining a pass mark of 86.1%) and placed the Assembly at the 49th position out of 260 District Assemblies in Ghana and 9th out of 29th District Assemblies in the Greater-Accra Region.  Organized the first ever gender-based programme for the Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly on Thursday 31st March, 2022 at the Forecourt of the Assembly.  Carried out the first monitoring exercise under the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) for the Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly in June, 2021. This exercise produced the first-ever detailed document on the GSFP for the Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly.  Led a team at the Shama District Assembly to pass the FOAT assessment in 2015 and 2016 (obtaining a pass mark of 90% and 94% respectively).
