About Me

Hello, I’m Rama Wijaya, a data professional with a diverse background and a passion for data science and analysis. My career journey has taken me through the fields of animal science, mathematics education, and research, which have collectively shaped my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. As a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Animal Science from Universitas Gadjah Mada, I’ve had the opportunity to engage in valuable research experiences, working on livestock nutrition and sharing knowledge with local farmers in rural areas.

However, my career aspirations have led me towards the world of data. With a growing interest in data science and machine learning, I decided to broaden my horizons and skill set. I am currently working as a Data Scientist Contributor on Kaggle, where I actively engage in data science projects and competitions, applying my analytical skills to real-world data challenges. Additionally, I’m gaining hands-on experience in data analysis, engine development, and machine learning through my role as a Data Science Trainee at DQlab, collaborating with a team of data scientists to solve complex data problems.

My aspirations in this field are clear: I aim to become a proficient data analyst and data scientist, harnessing the power of SQL, Python, and data visualization tools to extract valuable insights from data. I strive to apply this expertise in real-world scenarios, contributing to data-driven decision-making and problem-solving. Whether it’s in the realm of business, healthcare, or any other field, I see data as the key to unlocking insights and driving positive change.
