About Me
Hello, My name is Neelam Shukla. I am a Melbourne-based UX designer with experience in the HR and Education industry. I have 12 years of in stakeholder management, collaboration, user research and ideating. I had been using UX methods, despite not knowing what UX Design was! I like to create impactful and meaningful digital experiences (keeping with the trend). As an ex-entrepreneur myself, I have dealt with all aspects of the business, which helped me with structural thinking, analytical rigour and last but not least, perseverance.
My biggest strength is interacting with people and dealing with empathy. Empathy is the key to understanding a customer’s needs, which shall serve me well as a UX/Experience Designer. I am always looking for novel ways to improve end-user interaction to increase satisfaction, loyalty, and general use.
Outside work, I like to spend time baking and D.I.Y. I am the mother of two gorgeous and cheeky monsters.
