About Me

1. Hi there!

I’m Nargiz, a 22 year old Computer Systems and Software graduate. I’ve graduated in summer 2022. Over the past few years, I have been a part-time freelance graphic and web designer while also pursuing my studies. Currently I’m a UX/UI designer at Big Dream Lab.

Throughout my academic journey I’ve gained diverse knowledge and skills in areas of coding and software development, as well as Web Development and 3D modeling.

I am a leader by nature, and I’ve participated in number of  projects and competitions where I led the teams. For example on a recent OpenAI Hackathon I’ve gathered and lead a team of women from around the world.  We’ve worked on building Bibliotopia, which is an AI based book recommendation web app.

I’m naturally an artistic person, and since childhood I love exploring different mediums such as drawing, painting, knitting, sewing, sculpture, photography, and digital design. I discovered my passion for digital design during my early teenage years, when I got my first laptop, and have been learning and developing my skills ever since. I started with Photoshop, then moved onto other tools such as Illustrator, and now I mostly use Figma for my projects.

I’m interested in opportunities that allow me to work on meaningful projects, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and continue to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
