About Me
I am a self-motivated professional with over 15 years’ experience successfully delivering various IT projects across numerous roles including delivery management, project management, product owner and business analysis which has led to my current incarnation as a hybrid business analyst. I have found that I most enjoy the business analysis aspects but am more than happy to assist with responsibilities normally attached to other roles in order to help a project over the line. I have extensive experience working in small to medium sized cross-functional teams with in-house, offshore and third party development teams; analysing client needs, writing requirements, prioritising the backlog, overseeing daily progress, testing/QA and managing delivery outcomes.

Supporting the software development team to evolve the essensys Platform which supports commercial real estate owners in managing their flexible office spaces. o Providing full Business Analysis support to two development squads. o Facilitating workshops with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, QA’s and stakeholders to identify and map existing and potential user journeys. o Identifying and documenting Epics and User Stories required to deliver user journeys, including capturing acceptance criteria. o Championing agile business analysis processes and proactively contributing to continuous improvement including mentoring junior Business Analysts. Projects successfully completed: o Implementation of new decommissioning process which reduced the number of customer support queries by over 10%; o Improved contract creation journey which reduced the creation time by nearly 25%. o Recoding integration with legacy backend system which increased API response times between 20-50%

Supporting the eCommerce team to re-platform 2 group brand websites (Robert Dyas and Ryman) from Magento 1 to Magento 2.4 within an AWS environment. o Assisting discovery phase with the third part Systems Integrator (Astound) to detail and analyse existing and new business requirements; o Managing the sign-off process between each Brand and Systems Integrator across wireframes, UI, Functional Specification documents and Integration Specification documents; o Becoming the main liaison with the Systems Integrator for resolving queries and issues; o Assisting QA and Brand teams during SIT and UAT phases; o Documenting previous, current and future data flows, rules and configuration settings for future reference.
