Madison Wilburn
About Me
I am volunteering in order to gain writing experience. My dream is to start writing professionally and I want to do volunteer work before I decide to go to school to pursue writing. In high school, I wrote every single day and have kept all for the writing prompts I created. I have a passion for writing and impacting people with my words- making someone feel your emotion through words is the highest reward in writing. I am a team-player, but I am able to work independently without any micro-management.
I studied some law when I initially went to college, so I have background knowledge on the law and protocols and am able to put that into my writing. In high school I took STEM classes and also have volunteer experience in a hospital, so my medical knowledge is also something I can bring to the table.

American Leadership Academy
Graduated number fifteen in my class, participated in Nation Honor Society, and did several volunteer projects for my school. I maintained a 3.8 gpa over all four years- the highest gpa I received was a 4.3.
Work & Experience
Lab Aid
Labcorp
My duties include data entry for COVID19 nasal swabs and the separation of blood and blood plasma. I assist on a team of thirty members to keep out workspace clean and make sure all for the data is input correctly.
