About Me
I’m a versatile and innovative UX Designer with a unique blend of backgrounds in social work, healthcare, and business. With 10 rich years of diverse professional experience and a distinctive empathy-driven approach, I design seamless user experiences that make a difference.
I began my career as a Social Worker and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where I developed a deep understanding of people’s needs and behaviors. This foundation of empathy and human understanding informs my work in UX design, allowing me to create solutions that are not only efficient but also human-centered.
I transitioned into the tech industry and have spent the last two years focusing on Healthcare UX, specifically on mobile and desktop solutions for Electronic Health Records (EHR). Collaborating closely with product management and development teams, I’ve striven to make complex systems more intuitive and accessible.
In recognition of my skills, I’ve won the Best Financial Literacy Hack at TechTogether Atlanta Hackathon 2022 and was awarded for one of the Best Overall Hacks at Kurinji Hacks 2022.
My educational journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, a Bachelor of Science in Interaction Design, and Associate degrees in Marketing and Management. These diverse academic experiences have armed me with a unique perspective and a broad skill set, making me a proficient problem solver who can traverse the landscape of UX design with a business-oriented lens.
When I’m not at my desk, you’ll find me exploring new cities, delving into a good book, or immersing myself in the world of video games. These passions fuel my creativity and give me fresh insights into usability and design.
