About Me
Hello – I’m a project manager for senior leaders in banking. I’ve delivered complex projects and fixed critical issues for senior leaders for the last 20 years. Regulatory projects, strategic projects and quite frankly, any issue hindering business’s progress.
For example, I have delivered large components of MiFIDII, Brexit and IBOR Transition for banks such as Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas and HSBC.
I am now looking to land my first role in a Fintech and hence am offering my services to Fintechs and technology startups – to help them delivery priority projects and at the same time, get valuable experience working in startup environments that will aid my search.
The key skills I think would be valuable to these firms are:
– Fixing critical issues: understanding the root-causes of issues, then working with all relevant teams to agree and implement solutions quickly
– Delivering regulatory change: understanding regulatory requirements, then agreeing and implementing pragmatic solutions that do not hinder progress

Senior Project Manager
Deutsche Bank
4 years delivering complex projects for the EMEA COOs within the Investment Bank at Deutsche Bank. Delivered a number of regulatory projects, including getting 5 businesses compliant with regulations for MiFIDII and Brexit. I think this would be valuable to RenderFX because this demonstrates my skills in coordinating complex activities across multiple teams, in a fast-paced environment, to deliver outstanding results. A specific example is when I communicated the proposal for a new EMEA Equities Execution Desk to over 30 stakeholder groups, understood their concerns and got their approval - so the desk could go live within 3 months. I am a strong project manager - with a complete skillset of project planning and governance, execution, issue resolution and reporting to senior management. I also have strong business skills, owning my own mentorship business for mid-career professionals - so can easily pick up the more product/business elements of the role (market analysis, competitor analysis). Finally, I am super keen and able to learn. The reason I am pursuing volunteer opportunities is because I want to land my first Product Manager role in Fintech, having spent the last 20 years as a Project Manager in traditional banks. Delivered a major cost-saving initiative for the Global Banking and Markets business. Recovered USD60m for the bank in Year 1. Plus, implemented a process so that the same could be recovered every year. Value to RenderFX - this again demonstrates my coordination, leadership and problem-solving skills as I had to work with over 10 teams in the bank to agree the plan, agree the target clients, agree the communications and manage the execution.
