• I participate in TEAM fEMR Coding program where I was assigned ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS to the medical record from a refugee camp on the US-Mexico border. Many of the Medical record was Spanish and need to be translating before being coded as follow: • Account for coding and abstracting of patient encounters • Research and analyze data needs for reimbursement • Make sure that codes are sequenced according to government and insurance regulations • Ensure all medical records are filed and processed correctly • Analyze medical records and identify documentation deficiencies • Review and verify documentation for diagnoses, procedures, and treatment results
