As a Human Resource and Administrative Manager with over 3 years of experience in the International Development sector, I am passionate about using my skills and expertise to support organizations working to promote sustainable development and poverty reduction around the world.
Throughout my career, I have worked with a range of international organizations, where I have gained extensive experience in all aspects of HR, from recruitment and staff development to benefits administration and employee relations. I am committed to creating a positive and inclusive work culture that supports employee well-being and professional growth, and have a wealth of experience in developing and implementing initiatives to foster a more inclusive organizational culture.
As a collaborative and results-driven professional, I am skilled in managing multiple HR projects simultaneously and have a talent for identifying and addressing HR issues in a proactive and constructive manner. Overhauled record keeping system from manual to computer based thereby creating a user friendly and systematic information management system and also reducing the data retrieval time. Evaluate staff achievement / identify areas of improvement and develop a feedback loop. Ensure personal growth of all staff members and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities by ensuring all learning activities are completed; experience practiced and certifications obtained and/or maintained within specified time frames. Developed mentorship pathway for 4 youth fellows in transitioning into the organization as programme associates. Lead the orientation, training and on-boarding of new employees. Providing technical oversight for the development, implementation, impact monitoring, and evaluation of all organization’s donor-funded education-focused programs and initiatives. Developed the first-ever Organization staff manual and handbook to guide employee-employer relations. Worked with the ICT Team to digitalize attendance.
