About Me
Esihle is a bold and eloquent writer and media practitioner who holds an Honours degree in Journalism and Media Studies, a Bachelors in Journalism focused on television and Organisational Psychology from Rhodes University.
With 5 years of progressive experience in media production and communication, freelance writing and editing. I am an ambitious, creative, hardworking and passionate individual who is always seeking ways to learn and grow in her skills and talents. With the launch of my multimedia blog KOFI, I believe that it is a true reflection of my passion and ambition for journalism and multimedia. For my blog, I have written articles and conducted interviews with Dr Thabisa Mabusela Clinical Psychologist and lecturer at the University of Nelson Mandela regarding matters of mental health, gin purveyor Lunga Tukani who is the founder of Kwande Craft Gin and Lwando Mjo a South African visual artist who has had his artwork showcased at the virtual National Arts Festival in 2020. With this platform, I intended to share knowledge and awareness on what African people are doing and have to say to.
Through journalism, we are able to learn more and be informed about the world around us. I am a media practitioner because I find purpose in teaching others about the world through writing, research, editing, video, and audio.
My passion lies in informing others, creating and communicating different perceptions and for this reason, my passionate love for journalism has always been ablaze.
