About Me
Hi, my name is Claire and I am from Nigeria. I sort of stumbled on UX a little while ago and it’s been a fascinating journey. One of the things that fascinate me most in UX is Accessibility. I like that people with different abilities are considered when designing products.
I would like to use my knowledge in UX to work on projects that solve social issues. I am pretty good at empathizing with people and I am confident that with time and dedication, I could become a whole lot better at not just recognizing their needs, but also coming up with the best solutions to them.
I know a lot of people might say they want to change the world because it’s the cool thing to say, but I honestly would like to contribute my quota to making this world better and I hope to use my design skills for that.
And although I cannot dance to save my life, I love to dance. Don’t ask me to dance at a party though.
Education
Zuri
Researched and identified the pain points of users through interviews for a cloth donation app. Developed key personas to give more insight and created sketches, wireframes for the design. Also performed usability testing and iterated on the final design. For the second project, I worked with a team of 20 people to create a museum website and native app. We identified pain points, creating sketches and wireframes. We also created a simple style guide for the project.
Hertechtrail
Worked with a team in Hertechtrail Academy to come up with ideas for a food web app. We created wireframes and conducted user testing. With the results from our user testing, we iterated on our designs to come up with a final one that works better.
