About Me
My name is Aniedi Bernard Oboho-Etuk, a graduate of Statistics (BSc Honours). I recently completed an 8-month (July 2022 – February 2023) training in Data Science with the Explore Data Science Academy and a 3-month internship program with ExploreAI.
I am currently with the University of Uyo (Nigeria) where I have worked for 9 years as Statistician (Admin). Given my dream of becoming an AI Expert I have ventured into Data Science. My work routine in the University allows for personal development, thus I would be able to commit at least 6hrs daily for this volunteer program.
For me AI is a dream tool to aid human transformation and evolution into better beings, it can also help in exploring uncharted territories and expand human capabilities. I have kept this dream alive and sought opportunities like this to deploy my skills to good use.

Interacted with and followed the Chatbot (product) Development guideline. Collaborated with the Team Leader to develop a project management framework. Mined and analyzed data from the Nedgroup Investments website and decided on what optimizations suits the product development and business strategies. Collaborated with my team to create an LLM-based FAQ chatbot for Nedgroup Investments. Leveraged Haystack, an open source NLP framework to interact with their data using Transformer models and LLMs. Coordinated with supervisors and project owners to implement the models. Develop and implement monitoring tools for product development.
