About Me

Maria Andrea Zamora is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science at the University of Santo Tomas. She possesses a background in some of the key facets of Human Resource Management, such as timekeeping, staffing, training and development, and performance management. In 2018, she had her first training experience as a Human Resource Intern, where she was tasked to do a number of clerical and administrative tasks.

Andrea is also an advocate for mental health and wellness. Her college program served as an eye opener for her in examining the different issues surrounding human condition.

Rendered my internship as a school requirement for her undergraduate graduation. There, I conducted numerous tasks that are anchored on various aspects of HR management, such as timekeeping, recruitment and screening, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement. Tasks: ● Updated time log summaries, time charges, and attendance trackers of the company’s employees and interns on a daily basis ● Assisted in sending weekly time log summaries to interns via email on a weekly basis ● Assisted in arranging the documents needed for interns ● Prepared, implemented, and conducted the company’s virtual events and team activities ● Used social media marketing tools such as Canva to create and maintain the company’s brand ● Created content, including text posts, videos, and images for use on social media ● Was trained in payroll and government remittance processing ● Posted job advertisements for potential HR interns on LinkedIn ● Screened potential interns’ resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates ● Organized and conducted virtual interviews with shortlisted candidates ● Prepared and sent offer and rejection letters via email to candidates ● Assisted in conducting the company orientation and onboarding of newly hired HR interns ● Supervised and coached the newly hired HR interns on their daily operations
