Opportunity Details
People in the HR team oversee any people-related needs that arise within the management of the company. They often manage recruiting, hiring and end of contract, as well as onboarding new hires and managing the orientation process to get employees set up in their new roles.
HR teams should also keep detailed employee records.
HR Executives will manage our Volunteer Talent Pool from SkilledUp Life.
What you will do:
Collaborate with leadership to create and execute effective recruitment strategies that align with the company’s mission and values.
Collaborate with the Team Leads to determine staffing needs and develop recruitment plans.
Manage sourcing and Talent Acquisition: Posting job descriptions, searching for qualified volunteers to apply for the open positions, screening candidates and conducting interviews. This responsibility plays a leading role in developing the organization.
Conduct unionized work environments, helping in strengthening the relationships between managers, supervisors and the employees.
Key Responsibilities
Working with our CEO and HR team, your volunteer role includes:
Recruitment and Hiring:
Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs.
Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and make hiring decisions.
Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
Employee Relations:
Foster positive relationships between employees and management.
Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
Promote a healthy work culture that values diversity and inclusion.
Implement policies and procedures to maintain a respectful workplace.
Staff Development:
Create and execute training programs for continuous learning and growth.
Support career development and performance management.
Encourage professional development opportunities for all team members.
Performance Management:
Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
Conduct regular performance reviews and goal-setting sessions.
Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary actions.
Departmental Support:
Collaborate with department managers to understand their unique needs.
Assist in workforce planning and resource allocation.
Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives and projects.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Experience in HR or management (preferred)
Knowledge in consumer electronics and the retail environment (preferred)
Skills and Requirements
Fluent in English
Undergraduate degree or similar education in human resources.
Excellent communication skills and record keeping.
Attention to details.
Interest in technology and the ability to quickly learn new products and features
Self-starter with a strong commitment to driving results
Enthusiastic, initiative-taking, and outgoing personality that is comfortable in a competitive environment
Professional demeanor, excellent verbal, and written communication skills
Access to a PC/Laptop and Internet.

This opportunity is suited for a mid-level seasoned professional with HR or management experience who focuses on technology. Our company evolves in a niche market; thus, knowledge management in the Virtual Reality and 3D sectors is preferred.
Duration
Ability to commit 2-3 hours per day.
3 months duration. Strict adherence to this working timeline shall be enforced.
