About the Opportunity
As the Head of Volunteer Acquisition, you will support the strategic growth of our volunteer acquisition function. Working closely with the Head of Volunteer Acquisition and a team of Volunteer Talent Acquisition Managers, your role will be key in designing sourcing strategies, managing outreach initiatives, improving the onboarding process, and driving consistent growth in volunteer engagement across EMEA, Americas, and APAC. You will help shape acquisition strategy, lead the team, and deliver long-term value to the organisation.

Activities
• Lead and mentor Volunteer Talent Acquisition Managers and sourcing volunteers.
• Design and implement sourcing processes to attract skilled volunteers worldwide.
• Use job boards, digital platforms, educational networks, and social media for outreach.
• Ensure a smooth and consistent volunteer onboarding experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging, tools, and workflows.
• Monitor performance using CRM and track outreach and conversion metrics.
• Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations.
• Identify challenges and drive process improvements.
• Represent the Volunteer Acquisition team in internal meetings when required.

Requirements
• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, outreach, user acquisition, or community growth.
• Leadership or team coordination experience (formal or informal).
• Strong understanding of sourcing strategies and digital outreach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely.
• Fluent in English (Spanish or Portuguese is a plus).
• Familiarity with CRM or digital tools is an advantage.
• Passion for people, startups, and opportunity creation.
