About the Company

Deal Lite is a Company and Investor Intelligence platform that allows you to discover rapidly growing tech companies in the UK and the investors that are funding them.

It can display:

Deals: UK tech investments that have happened during a certain period of time.

Investors: the investment portfolio of the UK’s active investors.

Companies: the funding history of fast-growing tech companies in the UK.

This product and the application are useful for companies and investors alike. Companies can identify potential investors to raise funding, and investors can identify companies that present the best investment opportunities.

About the Opportunity

We are passionate about understanding how the founder equity changes with each round of investment. We have embarked on a project to showcase cap tables. It would be good to seek regular engagement of a corporate finance volunteer to further understand all aspects related to founder equity and cap tables.

Acquired Work Experience and Skills

Unlike other volunteer opportunities, you need to have sufficient experience and knowledge in corporate finance to qualify for this opportunity. Perhaps you work for a large company and this opportunity will give you the chance to experience what it’s like to operate within a chaotic early stage tech startup.

– 3 months
– At least 2 hours per day
– Part – time
– Remote

Activities/Roles

Working with our CEO and the team, your Volunteer role will include all or a selection of:

• Review our methodology of creating cap tables and interpretation of company house filings.
• Regularly support creation of cap tables for as many tech companies as possible to provide more knowledge to our subscribers.
• Map Cap Tables as soon as their filings.
• Recommend changes to entered data to improve data accuracy.
• Seek confirmations from companies where it makes sense.

Responsibilities

Your role includes:

• Review our methodology of creating cap tables and interpretation of company house filings.
• Regularly support creation of cap tables for as many tech companies as possible to provide more knowledge to our subscribers.
