As a Social Media Community Manager Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in building and engaging our online communities on Instagram and TikTok. This volunteer position offers valuable hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and community building. The ideal candidate is creative, tech-savvy, and has a strong understanding of social media trends and best practices. You will be responsible for creating and curating engaging content, managing social media campaigns, interacting with our online communities, and analyzing social media metrics to drive growth and engagement.

Volunteer Activities

Working with our marketing team, your volunteer role includes:

·         Develop and implement social media strategies for Instagram and TikTok to increase brand awareness and engagement.

·         Create and curate visually appealing and engaging content (posts, stories, reels, and videos) aligned with our brand voice and target audience.

·         Manage and monitor social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

·         Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns and contests.

·         Analyze social media metrics and provide insights to improve content performance and community engagement.

·         Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and platform updates.

·         Engage with our online communities, fostering conversations, and building relationships with followers.

Requirements

·         Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.

·         Excellent written and visual communication skills with a knack for creating engaging content.

·         Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics.

·         Basic graphic design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
