About Me
Master in UCL Human-Computer Interactions|UX Design|Wellness and Health Management|Digital Marketing | Graphic Design
As a master’s student in Human-Computer Interaction at University College London (UCL) with a background in psychology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, I’ve always been driven by a deep curiosity about people—what they need, how they think, and how technology can be crafted to make their lives better.
After two semesters in my master’s program, I’ve gained hands-on experience with the full UX design process, from initiating ideas to conducting research and developing designs. Collaborating in group settings, I’ve worked on impactful projects like designing a paired app and device system to foster women’s safety while traveling in public spaces. This project taught me how to address real-world problems by combining empathy-driven research and user-centered design principles. Moreover, I am currently delving into the field of Human-AI interactions, HCI in health and wellbeing, user-centered data visualization and future interfaces designs.
I’ve also pursued personal projects that reflect my passion for creating meaningful and engaging user experiences. These include an art museum gamification experience model to make cultural spaces more interactive, an AI-powered cosmetic product scanner application redesign to enhance usability and accessibility, and a smart redesign of hospital water dispensers aimed at creating an inclusive and efficient experience in medical environments. These projects have expanded my skills in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch, but more importantly, they’ve strengthened my ability to design solutions that are both functional and impactful.
I also had the privilege of working with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) on their Wellness PLUS team, where I took on a leadership role in community-focused projects for approximately four years. In this role, I worked extensively in group settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve key goals in product management and development, marketing, and graphic design. From conceptualizing and executing digital wellness initiatives to designing promotional materials that effectively engaged diverse audiences, my experience at HKFYG reinforced my ability to lead, strategize, and create user-centered solutions.
These experiences, paired with my background in psychology, have equipped me with a strong understanding of human behavior and the ability to translate insights into designs that resonate with users, drive engagement, and create meaningful impact.
