About Me
I am a Brand Specialist who have worked with Unilever Ghana Public Limited Company (PLC) for over two years and currently working as a Brand Executive for the Snacks Business with Olam Agri Ghana Limited.
Working in the Marketing space has exposed me to a lot of skills as I am tasked with a number of projects to ‘own’ and manage with specific timelines. It has given me the opportunity to work directly on brands and with external agencies to drive specific market development plans for these brands. I have also had the opening to work with other brands aside from my category.
Prior to graduating from the university, I built a number of experiences and networks with some associations and organizations such as; Choicism.com, a campus online news portal at the University of Cape Coast; Unilever Ghana Limited; Institute for Liberty and Policy Innovation Ghana, just to mention but a few. I am excellent at working with others to achieve core objectives in time and with excellence.
Coupled with Communication Studies, I read English and History in my first and second year in school. This has strengthened my research and writing skills. Working as the Editor-in-Chief for Choicism.com for over two years now, has given me the experience and confidence to work in an organization where learning is instrumental for success.
Having also been a campus brand ambassador for Unilever PLC for two years, has helped me build on my level of confidence. As a campus ambassador, I interacted with a lot of people including deans, lecturers, student leaders and others on behalf of my parent organization. This allowed me create a great network base of people with other relevant experiences.
I am interested in volunteering, blogging, news and article writing and would therefore welcome the opportunity to contribute my research, writing and public relations skills as well as my online engaging experience, to support the execution of any responsibility that I am tasked with.
