Opportunity Details 

People in the Information and Technology teams have a complete knowledge of computer software, hardware, and networks. They will be responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting our company’s IT infrastructure.

Web Developers are professionals responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our website. Web developers’ responsibilities include building our website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.

What you will do: 

You will work closely with the IT Team to provide a framework for the development of software or system that will result in high quality IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities 

Working with our CEO and teams, your volunteer role includes:

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices

Integrate data from various back-end services and databases

Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs

Create and maintain software documentation

Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site

Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Experience in software development.
Knowledge of consumer electronics and the retail environment (preferred).
Experience in software development and coding in various languages (C#, .NET, Java etc.).
Familiarity with HTML/CSS, PHP, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Node.js, Python and UI/UX design.
Experience with AI technologies and their practical application in software development.
Proficient using Azure Web & Mobile, and other tools.
Ability to select and implement suitable frameworks and technologies.

Skills and Requirements 

Fluent in English
Undergraduate degree or similar education in Software Development, or IT.
Solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
Excellent communication skills and record keeping.
Interest in technology and the ability to quickly learn new products and features.
Self-starter with a strong commitment to driving results.
Enthusiastic, initiative-taking, and outgoing personality that is comfortable in a competitive environment.
Professional demeanor, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
Access to a PC/Laptop and Internet.

Acquired Skills 

Learning tools and instruments that Web Development world requires from you: application design, architecture, development.

More Information 

This opportunity is suited for a mid-level or seasoned professional with Web Development experience who focuses on technology. Our company evolves in a niche market; thus, knowledge management in the Virtual Reality and 3D sectors is preferred.

Duration 

Ability to commit 2-3 hours per day.
3 months duration. Strict adherence to this working timeline shall be enforced.
