About Me

My career spans the huge transition from offline only to the current world of all things online and offline as from user through manager to Marketing Technology consultant. Always prepared to roll up my sleeves and get the job done, if I don’t know how then it is very difficult to tells others how!
I have had the great pleasure of driving success over the last 30 years managing both small and very large teams, most significantly in a highly matrixed environment leading the transformation to digital within Thermo Fisher Scientific. This continued in all subsequent roles that focussed on digital marketing with significant change management both around systems and the most important people. No project can be successful without full engagement of users.
Digital marketing is a science, a key area for me, my background and experience has given me a fantastic platform to be able to both configure and make full use of marketing technology aligned with marketing goals and KPI’s. The key focus has to be analytics. If you can’t measure a result you cannot improve. So testing, measuring and continual improvement driven by great data (knowing the customer and future addressable market) tightly coupled with content. Driving up conversions, click-through rates, engagement and a methodical A/B testing and multi-variant landing page program is vital. However if resources are not aligned focussed on their skills and the requirements of the business no technology will work and deliver results.
