We are a data-driven startup that is building out access to data on 1.5m podcasts and over 40m episodes we have a large dataset and building out more points of reference against the hosts of the podcast but of course, this all means more data and pains.

The Data Scientist Volunteer Opportunity with Podcast Hawk is a great chance to build experience toward a career as a Data Scientist with a full project delivered against your CV, this volunteer role will also allow you to grow your knowledge, connections, and experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide information on the data set available in terms of what insights can be found.

Educate the team on how we can do things better around data.

What we need is someone who loves data, can work in MySQL to optimize the data itself but also build a set of reports on top that extract facts, growth, user searches, essentially gain insights from the data and own this space.

This is a role that will give you access to gigabytes of data that are joined through one identifier but also help us map relationships between the data we have and visualize this through R or platforms of your choice.

The team is fully remote in Mexico, UK, India, and the Philippines and this role is remote.
